Manama, March 16 (BNA) The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani met the Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Sheikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa.
The meeting discussed ways of cooperation and reviewed educational initiatives and programs related to the industrial sector.
The minister stressed the importance of the education sector and its role in the development of economic and social development in Bahrain.
The minister stressed the keenness to support and facilitate efforts to promote and facilitate the education sector, and praised the remarkable development witnessed by education in Bahrain during the past decade in terms of content, programs and methods of teaching and learning.
