Washington, October 1 (BNA) The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism stressed the importance of the bilateral relations linking the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America.
Addressing a working lunch in Washington, he highlighted the steadily growing trade relations, supported by joint agreements, reciprocal visits and trade programmes.
Al-Zayani was speaking during the event held on the sidelines of his official visit to the United States of America, during which he held meetings with think tanks based in Washington.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Washington, Sheikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, and the Assistant Undersecretary for Internal and External Trade, Sheikh Hamad bin Salman Al Khalifa.
The minister stressed the pivotal role played by think tanks in supporting the exchange of experiences between the two countries to conduct research and provide advice on trade policies and emerging technologies.
