Indian embassy celebrates Constitution Day, launches App for consular services

Manama, November 26 (BNA): The Embassy of India in the Kingdom of Bahrain celebrated the glorious Christmas Anniversary

Constitution Day at the headquarters of the diplomatic mission in Manama.

During the ceremony, an easy-to-use mobile application “EoIBhCONNECT” for Launching the consular appointment facilitation service.

On the occasion of the occasion, the ambassador recited the preamble to the constitution and presented flowers to the “Father of the Nation”.

The embassy also participated in the celebration of the Constitution Day, which was held in the central parliament hall, via live broadcast.

In his address to the community, the Ambassador highlighted the importance of Constitution Day and thanked Indian associations and community members for their participation in the event.

He briefed the audience on other initiatives undertaken by the embassy. Including the renovation of the Embassy’s website and the relocation of the IVS center to the Al Dana compound, while improving facilities for the provision of consular services.

The Ambassador also highlighted the various initiatives and plans of the Government of India and encouraged Indian associations to spread awareness about them in the community in Bahrain.

The ambassador also briefed the community on the recent measures taken by India and Bahrain to facilitate travel between the two countries in line with the excellent bilateral cooperation in various fields.

The embassy said the EoIBh CONNECT appointment scheduling app aims to make consular services more friendly and community friendly.

Currently, appointments for attestation services, passports and visas Services can be scheduled through this application. In the second phase, the application will be expanded to include appointments at the consular services outsourcing agency, IVS.
