JEX employees were asked to find an experienced attorney/assistant for a legal advisor position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This is an international company, with multiple offices in the region and one with offshore experience a huge advantage.

With offices in Europe, the GCC, Africa and Asia, it will be the central hub for growth, as the company looks to expand rapidly into the Saudi Arabian market.

Some of the main responsibilities will be:

• Manage and handle corporate matters regarding customer entities within the Middle East and Africa region, and manage project settings for new entity.
• Identify legal, commercial and business risks and propose solutions to avoid and/or mitigate risks.
• Successful teamwork across the company and full integration into the global legal team to resolve or support the resolution of complex legal issues;
• Act as a bridge and point of contact between functions and business to resolve legal issues.
• Managing and developing commercial relations with external law firms and relevant regulatory bodies.

salary:

40,000 to 50,000 SAR per month, including fixed allowances.

Ideally, candidates will have the following:

• 8-10 years PQE, licensed from a recognized jurisdiction with preference for those with a mixed law firm and in-house work experience.
• Bilingual (English and Arabic). The right candidate must be skilled enough and confident in his or her ability to draft and negotiate legal documents in both languages.
• Knowledge and experience in government procurement business.
• Previous experience in legal work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would be a distinct advantage.
• Previous work experience in TMT/IT related contracts would be an advantage.

Executive search involves working with a third party, such as the JEX Personnel.

Executive search is relationship driven. JEX staff will work closely with you to understand the requirements of the role. It is a research-based approach, which means that a retainer fee will be paid to the search company up front to conduct market analysis, a benchmark for skills/roles, and salaries.

The search firm tends to have extensive knowledge and access to board members and senior executives across industries and functions, allowing them to build a large pool of senior executive talent.
