iGA CE receives Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa Award for Voluntary Work

Manama, November 25 (BNA) The Chief Executive Officer of the Information and eGovernment Authority, Muhammad Ali Al-Qaed, received the Sheikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa Award for Voluntary Work, in appreciation of the Information and eGovernment Authority’s support for the technological contributions of the National Anti-Terrorism Task Force. The Leader received the award during the visit of the President of the Good Word Society (GWS) and the President of the Arab Union for Voluntary Work, Hassan Bouhaza, to the headquarters of the Information and e-Government Authority in Isa Town, where he highlighted the efforts of Bu Hazaa and the Union to promote volunteering. The Leader expressed his gratitude to Bouhaza for choosing the Information and e-Government Authority to be among the bodies whose efforts were honored in the eleventh session of the award. He added that he is proud of the efforts of the Information and eGovernment Authority team in supporting the dissemination of technology for the benefit of all sectors and helping the Kingdom to overcome many challenges of the pandemic.

The Leader emphasized the importance of promoting a culture that values ​​volunteering to support the growth of the Kingdom. The Information and eGovernment Authority worked with many volunteers to support the work team’s efforts. Their work included contributions to the BeAware Bahrain app, drive-through test centers, and the “444” call center.

Bu Hazaa highlighted the technical support provided by the Information and eGovernment Authority, which helped the Kingdom to overcome the challenges of the pandemic, wishing the organization further progress in its projects and services and its continuous support for volunteer work.
