Our client is a leading international facility management company. They are currently looking for an HSE Manager to join their team in Saudi Arabia.
The successful candidate must ensure that all IMS is implemented, monitored and contract processes are safe and functional.
• With the support of the QHSE Director, raising awareness and instilling a positive health and safety culture across contract operations.
• Assist in the preparation of reporting requirements for government entities and ensure full compliance with all requirements in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legal / contractual / client requirements.
• Monitor and supervise contract specific risk assessments to ensure their implementation as per the contract scope of work.
• Actively participate in meetings and meetings of the Health and Safety Committee “alerts”, suggestions, awards, etc.
• Where required and directed, liaise with governmental/legal authorities, alliance and strategic partners, existing and potential clients/clients, external agencies, certification bodies, etc.
• Ensure that periodic fire drills and evacuation drills are conducted for all facilities in accordance with SLA/KPI’s.
• Verify environmental aspects and impact assessment report/record and relevant controls in place.
• Support the Soft Services Manager and the Hard Services Manager in implementing the soft and technical services procedures for direct delivery.
• Produce monthly reports for services according to the performance of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ)
Report
• Report on health and safety issues related to specialized personnel, occupational health and safety performance, compliance with our legal obligations, changes in work practices and technical issues arising during contract transition.
• Prepare monthly reports on performance across the project.
• Diploma/Degree with specialization in HSE/Engineering/Management or related field
• Integrated Management Systems Training Certificate (Preferred)
• Demonstrate proficiency in the Microsoft Office environment including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook
• NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health – UK) IGC qualification
• Training for internal auditor certification ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 1800
