HRH the Deputy King meets with the Chairmen of the Municipal Councils and their deputies

Manama, Dec. 22 (BNA): His Majesty’s Deputy, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, met today with heads of municipal councils and their deputies at Gudaibiya Palace.

His Highness highlighted the importance of building on the previous successes and achievements achieved by Bahrain to support the comprehensive development of the Kingdom under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

His Highness highlighted the shared responsibility for developing services provided to citizens, and affirmed the government’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with municipal councils to continue implementing government projects and initiatives.

For their part, the heads of municipal councils and their deputies expressed their appreciation for the commitment of His Royal Highness to support the efforts that contribute to the development of the Kingdom, and affirmed their keenness to achieve the desired goals of the Kingdom.

The meeting was also attended by His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and Minister of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture, His Excellency Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak.
