Manama, June 21 (BNA) The Viceroy, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, met today at Gudaibiya Palace, Eni CEO Claudio Descalzi.
His Royal Highness stressed that the oil and gas sector in the Kingdom represents a major sector contributing to the comprehensive development of the Kingdom, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Royal Highness stressed the importance of building on the progress made in the oil and gas sector in the Kingdom, by strengthening public-private partnerships, and spreading initiatives that reposition the economy as a smart oil economy to achieve quality opportunities and long-term sustainable growth.
His Highness praised the efforts of His Majesty the King’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oil and Gas Holding Company BSC. Contribute to the development of the Kingdom.
The latest developments in the oil and gas sector at the regional and international levels were also discussed.
