Manama, December 21 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy King, today met with the Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defense Force, Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, and a number of senior officials. Bahrain Defense Force officers at Riffa Palace.
During the meeting, His Highness the Vice King presented to His Excellency the Lieutenant-General and the senior officers of the Bahrain Defense Force the “Prince Salman bin Hamad Medal for Medical Merit” in appreciation and appreciation for their tireless support for the Kingdom’s efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
His Royal Highness the Supreme Commander, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, affirmed his appreciation for the efforts of the Bahrain Defense Force over the past two years.
His Highness pointed out that the contribution of medical professionals on the front lines and supporting entities from the Bahrain Defense Force, the Ministry of Interior and various other agencies had a positive impact on the Kingdom’s efforts to mitigate and protect public health.
His Royal Highness lauded that the Bahrain Defense Force’s provision of frontline support was a key component of Team Bahrain’s efforts to mitigate COVID-19.
His Royal Highness highlighted the integrated role of the Bahrain Defense Force as a major contributor to the Kingdom’s sustainable development.
His Highness concluded by thanking everyone in the Bahrain team for their continuous efforts to combat COVID-19 and protect public health.
