HRH the Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Economic Development Board receives the President of Hungary

Manama, Feb. 16 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Economic Development Board, today received the President of Hungary, Her Excellency Katalin Novak, at the headquarters of the Economic Development Board. His Highness welcomed HE Novak and the accompanying delegation to the Kingdom of Bahrain, praising the bilateral relations between the two countries and their continuous growth.

His Highness affirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to strengthening cooperation and coordination with Hungary, pointing to the importance of continuing to develop bilateral relations to achieve common aspirations that benefit the peoples of the two countries.

His Royal Highness and HE Novak witnessed the signing of a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding in the fields of infrastructure and oil, which will help create quality opportunities for citizens, and contribute to strengthening economic integration between Bahrain and Hungary.

The meeting was also an opportunity to explore investment opportunities and areas of cooperation between Bahrain and Hungary.

HE Novak was briefed on the investment opportunities in the Kingdom of Bahrain, its business-friendly environment and major development projects. His Excellency Novak was also briefed on the investment promotion strategies of the Economic Development Board in various vital sectors and the services it provides to investors, in addition to the efforts made by the Kingdom of Bahrain to diversify its economic base.

The meeting was also attended by a number of senior officials from the two countries.
