HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister receives the Commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command

Manama, November 14 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister, today received the Commander of the Central Command of the US Naval Forces, the Fifth United States of America. Fleet and Combined Maritime Forces, Vice Admiral Charles B. Cooper II at Al-Qudaibiya Palace.

His Highness affirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to continue strengthening the strategic partnership between Bahrain and the United States to achieve common goals, especially with regard to military and defense issues.

His Highness praised the continuous bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom and the United States, and highlighted the efforts of the United States and allied countries to maintain regional security and stability.

During the meeting, a number of issues of common interest and the latest regional and international developments were discussed.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Finance and National Economy, Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
