Manama, Apr. 12 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces and Prime Minister, held today an Iftar banquet for a number of senior officials and officers of the Department. Ministry of Interior, Public Security Officers Club.
Upon his arrival, His Highness was received by the Minister of Interior, His Excellency Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
His Highness affirmed the readiness of the Ministry of Interior officers and their commitment to achieving the highest standards in police and preventive services to achieve the aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
His Highness noted the vital role of the Ministry of Interior in maintaining public security and providing a safe and comfortable environment for the Kingdom’s citizens and residents.
His Highness the Crown Prince expressed his best wishes to the senior officers of the Ministry of Interior on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
His Highness praised the efforts of the Ministry of Interior in protecting the Kingdom and contributing to its achievements under the leadership of His Majesty the King, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
His Highness expressed his appreciation to all employees of the Ministry of Interior, headed by the Minister of Interior, His Excellency Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, for their tireless efforts in performing their noble duties throughout the Kingdom.
His Highness praised the measures taken by the Ministry of Interior to strengthen the criminal justice system in the Kingdom and the security of society through new reforms in provisions that introduced an alternative punishment program and opened prisons.
His Highness highlighted the importance of maintaining stability and added that security is crucial for progress and development.
His Highness praised the memory of the martyrs of the Kingdom’s soldiers and honored their sacrifices with pride. His Highness wished the Kingdom security, stability and prosperity under the leadership of His Majesty the King, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
For his part, Major General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah affirmed that the Ministry of Interior will continue to perform its security tasks with maximum efficiency, in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. His Excellency Major General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah reaffirmed that maintaining security is of paramount importance to assist the Kingdom in its continuous development.
His Excellency Major General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah expressed his gratitude to His Royal Highness for his continuous support for the efforts of the Ministry of Interior, wishing the Kingdom continued stability and prosperity.
His Highness was accompanied by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Educational Charitable Fund, His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
