Manama, Dec. 27 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received Alexei Skosyrev, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Riffa Palace today.
His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the strong relations between Bahrain and Russia, stressing the importance of continuing to develop and strengthen cooperation and joint coordination for the benefit of the two countries and their peoples.
His Highness welcomed the appointment of the ambassador to the Kingdom, wishing him success in his diplomatic missions.
During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest and regional and global developments.
His Excellency Skoserev expressed his appreciation for the commitment of His Royal Highness to strengthening relations between the two countries to achieve common goals, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.
The meeting was also attended by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy.
