Manama, February 10 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received today the Ambassador of Malaysia to the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Excellency Ambassador Chadrel Zahran, at Riffa Palace.
His Highness highlighted the steady growth of diplomatic relations between Bahrain and Malaysia, noting that these strong relations still enjoy the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Highness also affirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Malaysia in various fields to achieve the aspirations of the two countries and their peoples.
His Excellency Ambassador Zahran conveyed to His Royal Highness the greetings of the Prime Minister of Malaysia, His Excellency Ismail Sabri Yaqoub, and his wishes for the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity. In return, His Highness conveyed his greetings to the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
His Highness also praised the rapid developments in Malaysia, which have led to a transformational economic growth and its impact throughout Southeast Asia and internationally.
They also discussed regional and international developments and issues of common interest.
For his part, His Excellency Ambassador Zahran expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness, noting His Highness’ commitment to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, and wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club.
