Manama, October 7 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received today at Riffa Palace the Apostolic Vicar for Southern Arabia and Apostolic Director for Northern Arabia, Archbishop Paul Hender.
His Highness reiterated the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to adopting and promoting tolerance, dialogue and acceptance among all religions in line with the vision and leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Highness welcomed His Excellency Bishop Hinder in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and praised his humanitarian efforts to spread goodwill, dedication and tolerance. His Highness indicated the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to promote initiatives that promote cultural pluralism, peace and rapprochement between religions, highlighting the important role played by the King Hamad Global Center for Peaceful Coexistence in consolidating these values.
For his part, Bishop Hinder expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness, and praised the cultural diversity of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the history of religious and cultural tolerance.
The meeting was also attended by His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
