Manama, March 15 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today at Al-Qudaibiya Palace, the Minister of Housing, His Excellency Basem bin Yaqoub Al-Hamar, on the occasion of the completion of construction work. His Highness stressed that the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa are the basis for development initiatives that benefit citizens.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad confirmed that the royal directive of His Majesty King Hamad, announced in December 2013, to provide 40,000 new housing units throughout the Kingdom, was a priority of the government.
His Highness praised the efforts of the Ministry of Housing to achieve the royal directives of His Majesty the King. His Highness added that collaborative efforts and partnerships between the public and private sectors resulted in innovative financial plans and solutions for housing projects that promoted long-term sustainable development in the Kingdom.
