HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with the CEO of Halliburton

Manama, Feb. 20 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today at Gudaibiya Palace with the CEO of Halliburton, Jeff Miller.

His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the importance of oil and gas forums and conferences, such as the Middle East Oil, Gas and Geosciences Exhibition (MEOS GEO), to address the sector’s challenges and achieve regional and global energy goals.

His Highness stressed the importance of the oil industry in advancing economic progress, and the role of the private sector in supporting efforts to achieve the sustainability of the sector, and contributing to providing quality opportunities that support comprehensive economic growth.

His Highness also pointed out the importance of adopting the latest oil production technologies and initiatives to support sustainable economic and environmental growth. In this regard, His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister affirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to preserving the environment and fulfilling its green commitments in line with international agreements.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and His Excellency the Minister of Oil and Environment, Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak bin Dinah.
