HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister meets with senior GCC officials

Manama, November 20 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister, met today with the Chairman of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Al-Arabiya, His Royal Highness Prince Turki Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, His Excellency Dr. Nayef Falah Muhammad Al-Hajraf, Minister of State for the United Arab Emirates, and His Excellency Khalifa Shaheen Al-Marar. Acting Head of Kuwait’s National Security Apparatus, His Excellency Sheikh Sabah Shamlan Al-Sabah, on the sidelines of the Manama Dialogue 2021.

His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister stressed that maintaining regional security and stability requires integrated coordination to promote common interests that support development and growth.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad indicated that the unity of the Gulf Cooperation Council provides security for the region, which helps development, adding that efforts will continue to achieve the desired goals according to the visions of their Majesties and Highnesses, the leaders of the GCC countries.

His Highness welcomed the officials of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries in the Kingdom of Bahrain, noting that their participation in the Manama Dialogue and the efforts made to further enhance development, security and stability reflect the strong relations and historical relations between the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

The latest regional and international developments and issues addressed by the Manama Dialogue were also discussed.

For their part, Their Highnesses and Excellencies expressed their pride and appreciation to His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister for his commitment to strengthening Gulf ties in various fields.

The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, and the Minister of Finance and National Economy, His Excellency Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
