Manama, June 29 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met today at Sakhir Palace, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
His Highness affirmed the strong bilateral relations that unite Bahrain and Egypt and are reinforced by the commitment of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.
His Highness welcomed Sisi to the Kingdom of Bahrain, noting the importance of the visit, which will include signing memoranda of understanding and agreements that enhance bilateral relations and cooperation.
His Highness praised Egypt’s pivotal role in supporting regional security and international peace and stability.
The latest regional and international developments were also discussed, in addition to efforts to enhance Arab cooperation and coordination to protect the interests of Arab countries and their people.
The meeting was also attended by a number of senior officials.
