HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister issues Edict (17) of 2023

Manama, Mar. 16 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today issued Resolution (17) for the year 2023 to reconfigure the Water Resources Council after the approval of the Council of Ministers.

According to the decree, the Water Resources Council is chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, and it consists of the following members:

1- Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture – Vice-Chairman

2- Minister of Oil and Environment

3- Minister of Works

4- Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs

5- Minister of Cabinet Affairs

6- Minister of Housing and Urban Planning

7- Minister of Sustainable Development

8- Minister of Industry and Trade

All members serve for a renewable term of four years.

This Decree shall be effective immediately and published in the Official Gazette.
