Manama on December 15 (US): Today, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received a cable of congratulations from His Excellency the Minister of Interior, Lieutenant-General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, on the occasion of the Kingdom’s national holidays, in commemoration of the founding of the Council of Ministers. The modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Islamic state, was founded by Ahmed Al-Fateh in 1783, and it commemorates the accession of His Majesty the King to the throne.
