HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister chairs the weekly Cabinet Meeting

Manama, Apr. 10 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, chaired today the weekly cabinet meeting at Gudaibiya Palace.

His Highness instructed all government sector employees and retirees to pay their salaries on Tuesday, corresponding to April 18, before the blessed Eid Al-Fitr holiday.

The Council of Ministers announced the launch of the “Aspire” initiative aimed at supporting the career development of Bahraini holders of postgraduate degrees and creating good job opportunities commensurate with their qualifications.

The objectives of the initiative are in line with the proposal submitted by the House of Representatives in light of a memorandum submitted by the Ministerial Committee for Legal and Legislative Affairs.

The Cabinet stressed the importance of easing tensions in Al-Aqsa Mosque and providing protection for worshipers. The Cabinet also expressed its rejection of all provocative actions that fuel tension and instability, including violence against worshipers, and the use of weapons and explosives inside places of worship.

During the meeting, the Cabinet discussed several memorandums approving the following:

1. A memorandum submitted by the Ministerial Committee for Development and Infrastructure Projects regarding a draft decision to form a ministerial committee to review naming cities, neighborhoods, villages, suburbs, roads, squares, and intersections.

2 – A memorandum submitted by the Minister of Interior, Chairman of the Ministerial Committee for Information and Communications Technology, regarding a unified guide for customer service aimed at providing employees across government agencies with basic tools and knowledge to ensure the provision of quality services to citizens. and residents.

3. A memorandum submitted by the Ministerial Committee for Community Service regarding the implementation of the National Strategy 2023-2027 for the rights of persons with disabilities.

4. A memorandum from the Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture regarding owning real estate for public use to provide spaces for urban development.

5. The memorandum of the Ministerial Committee for Legal and Legislative Affairs regarding the government’s response to three proposals submitted by the House of Representatives.
