HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s directives hailed

Manama, July 5 (BNA): She praised the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to designate the ecological areas in Wadi Al Buhair, which contain terrain and rocky hills, as a nature reserve. He called on the concerned authorities to take the necessary measures and ministerial decisions to ensure the preservation of the area.



His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister also directed the concerned authorities to continue urban development and infrastructure in the Wadi Al-Behair region, taking into account the preservation of its reserves.



His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister affirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to preserving and developing areas of natural and historical value, to support its role as a tourist attraction.

The Minister of Works, Ibrahim bin Hassan Al-Hawaj, affirmed the keenness to preserve the natural areas when implementing development projects.

And he announced in a statement today, that the ministry will take all measures to continue development and infrastructure projects in Wadi Al-Behair in coordination with all partners, taking into account the natural reserves in the region.

He said that the ministry will continue to implement the directives of His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister aimed at enhancing the process of infrastructure development in line with the construction boom and providing the best services.

He stressed that infrastructure development and urban expansion make preserving environmental landmarks, natural areas and geographical diversity a priority, in line with the government’s vision to achieve sustainable development goals and in line with Bahrain’s 2030 vision.
