Implement and follow up on the optimal staff structure according to stores needs and productivity goals by coordinating the distribution of budgeted hours and number of employees and ensuring their compliance with applicable local laws and regulations
Manage the recruitment process, enhance selection tools and methods, conduct interviews as well as carry out inductions on board.
Ensure that company policies and procedures are consistently implemented (employee handbook, standard operating procedures, standard procedures, working hours, staff lockers, staff room procedures…)
Implementing employee relations programs and evaluating their effectiveness (exit interviews, employee questionnaires, absenteeism rates and turnover).
Implement the disciplinary policy based on the Disciplinary Action Matrix, ensuring compliance with local labor law
Ensure that health, safety and security in the workplace comply with local laws and regulations and the company’s code of conduct
Train, mentor and motivate store managers to develop their teams and manage talent to ensure employees have the appropriate knowledge, skills and abilities needed to meet current and future business requirements
Train managers to resolve conflicts and deal with employee issues to increase productivity and raise employee morale.
Follow up on completion of Performance Development Plans (PDP’s) and Performance Improvement Plans (PIP’s) through various learning activities and administer the performance appraisal cycle
qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent
– Fluency in English. Spanish is a plus
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Training of the Trainer (TTT) and Training Certificates are a must
2 to 3 years of experience in HR within a retail company
