Manama, May 28 (BNA) The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing, Sheikh Khalid bin Hamoud Al Khalifa, received the Assistant Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Women, Sheikha Dina bint Rashid Al Khalifa.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the Women’s Support Center in the Council, Abeer Muhammad Daham, the Director of Housing Services, Maryam Al-Fulaiti, and the Head of the Social Research Unit, Naseem Al-Jabal.
The Undersecretary affirmed the ministry’s keenness to hand over all housing facilities to Bahraini women in cooperation with the council, led by HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, consort of His Majesty the King.
He praised the cooperation with the Council to grant the right of usufruct to Bahraini women who are breadwinners after studying these cases and granting them a housing allowance and approving the beneficiaries.
The Assistant Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Women stressed the importance of cooperating with the ministry to implement a joint plan in order to achieve family stability.
