Housing Minister stresses public-private partnership

Manama, July 20 (BNA) The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning Amna bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi held a meeting with the technical team responsible for the government-owned land investment platform, which was launched last April within the framework of the economic recovery plan.

She praised the Ministry of Finance and National Economy for its cooperation, stressing joint coordination within the Bahrain team to achieve economic recovery.

She stressed the ministry’s keenness to invest in residential lands through the new platform, to consolidate partnerships with the private sector, and to explore innovative solutions.

She announced that housing projects will be launched in the coming period in partnership with the private sector, adding that investment schemes in government-owned lands will be expanded.

The platform provides real estate developers and investors with the opportunity to view the details of the lands available for investment in a realistic translation of the level of joint coordination between the public and private sectors, in line with Bahrain Economic Vision 2030, which is based on competitiveness and sustainability. and justice.
