Nairobi, June 7 (BNA): The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Amna bint Ahmed Al-Rumaihi, held a meeting with the Tunisian Minister of Equipment and Housing, Sarah Al-Zaafrani, on the sidelines of her participation in the work of the second session of the United Nations Human Rights Organization. Settlements Program Assembly (UN-Habitat), meeting here from 5-9 June.
The two ministers reviewed the fraternal relations between the two countries and means of enhancing joint cooperation in the areas of housing and urban development.
They also highlighted the progress made by countries in achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
The meeting also focused on the efforts made by the two countries to provide housing services to their citizens, in light of the two governments’ interest in the housing sector as one of the requirements for a decent life.
