HM the King returns to Bahrain after attending GCC summit

Manama, December 14 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa returned to Bahrain after heading the Kingdom’s delegation to the 42nd session of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, which concluded its work today in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

His Majesty the King was received by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and a number of well-wishers.

His Majesty the King had earlier left Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He was received by the editors-in-chief of local newspapers.

He sent a cable of thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, at the conclusion of the forty-second session of the Supreme Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, which was chaired by the Saudi Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister. Defense Minister His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

He praised the warm welcome and hospitality that re-elected the strong brotherly relations that bind the two friendly countries and peoples in various fields.

He valued hosting the forty-second session in Riyadh, which embodies the Saudi King’s keenness to support the Gulf process at all levels, praising the results of the summit that will enhance collective action, benefit member states and peoples, and contribute to maintaining regional security, stability and prosperity.

His Majesty the King called on God Almighty to rejoice in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques with good health and happiness, and to provide the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with security and prosperity.
