HM the King praises Bahrain’s educational achievements

Manama, June 1 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received today at the Sofia Palace the Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Adel Abdul Rahman Al-Asoumi, who presented to His Majesty the Jordanian King the Speaker of the Shura Council Abdul Karim Al-Daghmi and the Speaker of the Yemeni Shura Council Dr. Obaid bin Dagher, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Djibouti Mohamed Ali Hamad, Speaker of the Parliament of the Comoros Masdarwin Abdo, Vice President of the Associated Press, Member of the UAE Federal National Council Mohamed Ahmed Al Yamahi, Vice President of the Associated Press, Member of the State Council of Oman Dr. Hassan bin Ali Al-Madhni.

They arrived in Bahrain to attend the launching ceremony of the document “Developing Education in the Arab World” under the slogan: “Bahrain’s Gateway to Education Development in the Arab World”.

The ceremony, hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain, was organized by the Arab Parliament, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, in the presence of prominent personalities, heads of Arab parliaments and representatives of Arab and international organizations and civil society institutions.

They conveyed to His Majesty the King the greetings of state leaders, and the wishes of His Majesty the King of good health and happiness, and to the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people continued progress and prosperity.

His Majesty the King also extended his greetings to the leaders of their countries, wishing their countries and peoples continued progress and prosperity.

His Majesty the King praised the launch of the document to develop the education system in the Arab world in line with global changes and developments in this vital sector and in order to enhance common Arab interests.

He praised the strong historical relations linking Bahrain and its countries, noting the increasing cooperation in all fields, especially at the parliamentary and legislative levels, in order to achieve common goals and interests to serve the nation’s issues and to develop education in the Arab countries.

His Majesty the King highlighted the pioneering educational achievements achieved by the Kingdom of Bahrain over a period of more than one hundred years, praising the efforts of the Ministry of Education and all its bodies and the development plans and programs it is implementing to advance the educational process in the Kingdom.


He affirmed Bahrain’s support for all efforts that contribute to strengthening joint Arab action and serving the interests of the Arab nation in a way that meets the aspirations of its brotherly peoples for further development and development.

The heads of Arab parliaments expressed their deep thanks and gratitude to His Majesty the King, praising Bahrain’s contribution to the conference’s success. They praised the initiatives of His Majesty the King and his support for the Arab Parliament, praising Bahrain’s developmental steps.

Vice President of the Associated Press, member of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed Ahmed Al Yamahi, recited a poem on this occasion.
