HM King’s support to legitimacy in Yemen praised

Cairo, October 20 (BNA) Chairman of the Yemeni Shura Council, Dr. Ahmed Obaid bin Daghr, praised the efforts of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in supporting legitimacy in Yemen.

He pointed out that the Kingdom of Bahrain was one of the first countries to join the coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen, end the coup of the terrorist Houthi militia and restore legitimate state institutions.

This came during an official discussion session held between the Speaker of the Arab House of Representatives, Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoma and the Speaker of the Yemeni Shura Council, who praised Bahrain’s firm position in defending legitimacy in Yemen in regional and international forums and providing humanitarian aid to the Yemeni people.

The Speaker of the Yemeni Shura Council praised the unlimited support provided by the Kingdom of Bahrain to Yemen under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

He praised the sincere efforts of the Bahrain Defense Force and its participation in the Arab coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen.

He also praised the efforts of His Majesty’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Chairman of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, to assist the Yemeni people and implement humanitarian and development projects. In the same context, the Speaker of the Arab House of Representatives expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his keenness to support security and stability in Yemen.

He renewed the Arab Parliament’s firm stance towards Yemen and the Yemeni people, and its support for Arab, regional and international efforts to resolve the crisis politically according to the three locally agreed and internationally supported references: the Gulf Initiative, the outcome of the decision.
