Manama, Dec. 13 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of the King and Chairman of the Supreme Council for the Environment, praised the speech of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at the opening of the first session of His Majesty the King. Sixth legislative session session.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan said that His Majesty the King expressed his insightful vision and sound strategy to achieve progress in the environment and climate by supporting international efforts in confronting climate change.
The speech also reflected His Majesty the King’s interest in United Nations resolutions and recommendations issued by climate conferences, and support and assistance in achieving the goals of restoring environmental balance, sustainability of natural resources, and fair access to them.
The Personal Representative of His Majesty the King expressed his pride in His Majesty’s speech, which came in line with the comprehensive development process supported by His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah renewed loyalty to His Majesty the King to achieve the set goals and to enhance the Kingdom’s environmental and climatic efforts at the local, regional and international levels.
