HM King’s achievements hailed by Arab parliamentarians

Manama, June 3 (BNA) Heads and members of Arab legislative councils and parliaments and representatives of organizations concerned with education affirmed that the inauguration of the National Action Charter is a milestone documenting the democratic experience of the Kingdom.


They stressed that the democratic process in the Kingdom is highly regarded at the Arab and international levels, thanks to the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, which led Bahrain to unprecedented levels of progress and prosperity in all fields, as well as to the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.


They pointed out that “HH Sheikha Mozah bint Hamad Al Khalifa Comprehensive School for Girls” is a vivid example of the progress witnessed by the educational process during the prosperous era of King Hamad.


This came during the visit of Arab parliamentary delegations to the National Action Charter and Her Highness Sheikha Mozah bint Hamad Al Khalifa Comprehensive School for Girls. They were accompanied by the Minister of Education, Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi, and the Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Asumi.


The visit comes on the sidelines of the conference launching the “Document for the Development of Education in the Arab World”.


The conference was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Council for the Development of Education and Training, under the title “Bahrain is the gateway to education development in the Arab world”. Organized by the Arab Parliament in cooperation with the Ministry of Education with the participation of heads of Arab legislative councils and parliaments and representatives of relevant organizations.

While visiting the National Action Charter memorial, delegates were informed of the names of the voters who ratified the National Action Charter on February 14, 2001, with an overwhelming majority of 98.4%, embodying the massive popular support for His Majesty’s reform project.


They also toured the halls of the monument, and viewed the existing documentaries, interactive screens, photos, collectibles, interactive games for children, and historical documents, all of which confirm the foundations of His Majesty the King’s national project, based on unity, diversity, respect for others, perseverance, determination, cooperation, tolerance and determination to assume national responsibility. and encourage creativity.


Then the Arab parliamentary delegations visited “HH Sheikha Mozah Bint Hamad Al Khalifa Comprehensive School for Girls”, which is the first school in Bahrain to be established with international specifications in design and green buildings. It is the largest in terms of capacity, cost and facilities.


The modern school covers a total area of ​​50,000 square meters with 26,500 square meters of building area. It consists of advanced science laboratories, classrooms equipped with digital devices, classrooms for students with special needs, and multi-purpose halls. It also includes green buildings that are environmentally friendly and save energy, a central air conditioning system and elevators for students in each building.
