Manama, Nov. 28 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received today a telegram of thanks and appreciation from Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
Prime Minister Fumio Kishida expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Majesty the King for sending an official Bahraini delegation headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to attend the funeral of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. recently held in Tokyo.
The Japanese Prime Minister praised the generous gesture made by His Majesty King Hamad, which had a positive impact on the people of Japan, and contributed to strengthening the strong relations between the two friendly countries.
He stressed that he would do his utmost to strengthen the Japanese-Bahraini relations, which were strengthened by the late Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
He also highlighted the fiftieth anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, which is being celebrated this year.
