Manama, April 16 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, today visited the US Naval Support Facility in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

His Majesty the King was accompanied by the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force, Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the National Security Adviser and Commander of the Royal Guard, Major General Staff HH Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Commander of the Royal Guard Special Force. Upon his arrival, His Majesty the King was received by the Commander of the Central Command of the US Naval Forces, the Commander of the Fifth Fleet, Vice Admiral Charles Bradford Cooper, the US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Stephen Bondy, and the Commander of the Royal Bahraini Naval Force.

His Majesty the King, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, was briefed on the military cooperation between the two countries and their humanitarian operations with other countries to secure freedom of navigation and the flow of maritime trade in the region and the world.
