HM King receives written message from UAE President

Manama, Mar. 30 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a written message from the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, inviting His Majesty the King to attend the 28th session. The Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), which will be hosted by the United Arab Emirates at Dubai Expo City.

His Majesty the King received at Al Sufriya Palace, the country’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who delivered the message.

His Majesty the King expressed his thanks to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for this kind invitation, praising the UAE’s hosting and presidency of the global conference, which will contribute to drawing a future roadmap for global action on climate change.

His Majesty the King praised the long-standing fraternal and historical relations that bind the two countries, praising the advanced level of cooperation towards meeting common aspirations.
