Manama, October 6 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received today Archbishop Paul Hender, Apostolic Vicar for Southern Arabia, at Sakhir Palace, on the occasion of his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
His Majesty the King welcomed Archbishop Paul Hender, praising his humanitarian efforts in promoting goodness and tolerance. I am proud of the religious tolerance prevailing in Bahrain thanks to the awareness of its people who have always embraced the spirit of coexistence and acceptance of the other.
His Majesty the King praised the Kingdom’s continuous efforts and noble initiatives to promote dialogue between religions and cultures, praising the key role of the King Hamad Global Center for Peaceful Coexistence in this regard.
His Majesty the King discussed with Bishop Paul Hender a number of issues aimed at promoting a culture of dialogue, tolerance and moderation.
