Manama, Jan. 24 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received the President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa.
His Majesty the King expressed his appreciation for the role played by the council and its charitable efforts in serving Islam, showing tolerance, spreading its teachings, raising awareness of its constants based on moderation, and calling for tolerance between religions and cultures for the sake of coexistence.
The President of the Council expressed his gratitude to His Majesty the King and his directives to the Council to carry out its tasks and responsibilities in the service of religion and the homeland, asking God Almighty to preserve His Majesty and guide him to the straight path.
