HM King receives HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, group of Bahraini youth

Manama, March 24 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received today at Sakhir Palace his representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad. Al Khalifa, and the First Vice President of the Supreme Youth Council, President of the Public Authority for Sports, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who presented him with a group of Bahraini youth on the occasion of the Bahraini youth. Today, which is celebrated on March 25.

They all expressed their sincere thanks and gratitude to His Majesty the King for his support and encouragement to Bahraini youth to contribute to the civilized development process of the Kingdom.

In his speech, His Majesty the King expressed his appreciation for the dedicated efforts of Bahraini youth to ensure further growth and progress for the Kingdom. He wished them more success in achieving more achievements, instructing the concerned officials to continue developing youth-oriented programs. He praised the remarkable excellence achieved by Bahraini youth at the local and international levels, most notably in this critical period that requires great patience and exceptional work to confront the risks of the epidemic.

His Majesty the King urged Bahraini youth to protect Bahrain’s resources and assume their responsibilities in fortifying the Kingdom’s humanitarian model that calls for coexistence, tolerance and unity. He also directed naming this year the “Year of Bahraini Youth” in honor of the success achieved by Bahraini youth.

His Majesty the King also issued directives to name a street in the Kingdom “Bahraini Youth Road” in appreciation of the role of young people in serving their country and the tireless work to develop their skills for a better future for the country.

Then the Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs, Ayman Tawfiq Al-Moayyed, delivered a speech in which he praised His Majesty the King for his continuous support for Bahraini youth, referring to the establishment of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports in 1975, and praising the royal directives for the name 2022 “Year of Bahraini Youth”.

The minister praised the youth’s contribution to supporting the Kingdom’s name and image globally and spreading the message of peace, coexistence and Arabism. He also praised the government’s support led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs emphasized the key role played by His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa in paving the way for Bahraini youth and refining their skills to shine at the local and international levels.

His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa presented His Majesty the King with a souvenir on this occasion.
