Manama, February 21 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa ratified today and issued Law No. (3) of 2022 amending some provisions of Law (11) of 1975 regarding passports.
The law stipulated the replacement of Article (5) of Law (11) of 1975 regarding passports with the following text:
It is not permissible to leave the Kingdom of Bahrain or return to it except through the specified exits, or by using the passport or any other document that replaces it, or the identity card issued by the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Minister of Interior shall issue a decision specifying the exit points designated for entering and exiting the Kingdom of Bahrain.
It also provides for the repeal of every provision that contravenes this law.
The Prime Minister and the ministers – each within his jurisdiction – shall implement the provisions of this law, and it shall come into force upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
