HM King praises Bahrain’s development strides

Manama, Mar. 23 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Personal Representative of His Majesty the King, received His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for humanitarian work and youth affairs, National Security Adviser His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Directors Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, Chairman of the Shura Council Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, their deputies and chairmen of committees.

They expressed to His Majesty the King their congratulations on the blessed month of Ramadan, wishing His Majesty good health, happiness and a long life, and for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people further progress and development.

His Majesty the King exchanged congratulations with them, and praised their best wishes and generous feelings on this blessed occasion, praising the efforts of the Shura Council Speaker and members of the Shura Council and their patriotic stances.

He praised the pivotal role of the legislative authority in supporting the process of development and democracy in Bahrain, defending the vital interests of the Kingdom and reflecting the aspirations of citizens.

He praised the contributions of the Legislative Council to strengthening Bahrain’s position in the international parliamentary arenas, praising the successful hosting of 146 countries.y The Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly in the Kingdom.

His Majesty the King stressed the importance of enhancing fruitful cooperation and supporting coordination between the legislative and executive branches of government to push development and progress forward.
