HM King issues Decree (11) of 2023

Manama, Jan. 31 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today issued Decree No. (11) of 2023 amending Article (4) of Decree (5) of 2013 regarding the establishment of the Supreme Council of Health. Based on the proposal of the Prime Minister and after the approval of the Council of Ministers.

According to the decree, Article (4) of Decree (5) of 2013 regarding the establishment of the Supreme Council of Health reads as follows:

“The Supreme Council of Health shall have a General Secretariat, which shall be formed and headed by a Secretary-General, who shall be appointed by decree, upon the recommendation of the President of the Supreme Council of Health, in addition to a sufficient number of staff to be appointed as follows: by decree of the Chairman of the Council based on on the recommendation of the Secretary-General.

The Prime Minister shall implement the provisions of this decree, and it shall come into effect immediately, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
