HM King invited by Saudi Monarch to key summit in Riyadh

Manama, June 16 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received an official invitation from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to attend the joint summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council. With His Majesty the King of Jordan, the Egyptian President and the Iraqi Prime Minister, in the presence of the US President, Saudi Arabia will host on July 16th.

His Majesty the King expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his kind invitation, noting that the Kingdom of Bahrain welcomes the upcoming summit.


His Majesty wished the summit success in consolidating the GCC march and deepening joint cooperation to meet the aspirations of the brotherly peoples of the council and build on previous important achievements in various fields.
