Manama, September 14 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a congratulatory cable from Parliament Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal on the occasion of the International Day of Democracy, which falls on September 15 of each year.
In the telegram, the Speaker of the House of Representatives praised the achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain, led by His Majesty, praising the royal support for the legislative authority since the launch of the reform and sustainable development process.
He praised the role of the process that supported the state’s law and institutions and laid the modern constitutional foundations emanating from the National Action Charter, to begin a new era of political reform and democratic life.
