Manama, December 23 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received a cable of congratulations from the Minister of Follow-up at the Royal Court, Sheikh Ahmed bin Attiya Allah Al Khalifa, following the successful launch of the first Bahraini-Emirati satellite “Light 1” and its arrival at the International Space Station.
Sheikh Ahmed praised the unprecedented achievement achieved by Bahrain in the field of space, noting that it embodies the forward-looking royal vision and confidence in the distinguished capabilities of Bahraini competencies.
The minister also praised the distinguished efforts made by His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Adviser, Commander of the Royal Guard and Secretary General of the Supreme Defense Council, asking the Almighty to make His Majesty the King happy with good health, happiness and long life, and wishing the Kingdom more security and progress, under His Majesty’s leadership.
