Manama, Feb. 26 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from the Vice-President of the Supreme Council for the Environment, Vice-Chairman of the Supreme Authority of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse-racing Club, and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse-racing Club. Member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, His Highness Sheikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, for the achievement praised by His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, and the leader of the Royal Endurance Team, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, winner of the first place in the World Endurance Championship of the International Equestrian Federation, Which made him the champion of the 160 km race in Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Faisal expressed his pride in this honorable achievement, stressing that it came as a result of the continuous royal sponsorship of sports in the Kingdom.
He praised the efforts of His Highness Sheikh Nasser in winning many international sports championships, which are added to the Kingdom’s record of sporting achievements in the field of equestrian and endurance racing, wishing him more success in international sports forums.
