Manama, December 22 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a congratulatory cable from the Deputy Prime Minister, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, on the occasion of the successful launch of the first Bahraini Emirati satellite “Light 1”.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Mubarak stressed that the satellite is an advanced and ambitious national project stemming from the directives of His Majesty the King to explore the future and its sciences, by building a space sector capable of space exploration, technology and innovation, which will enable the Kingdom. Benefiting from this data and placing it among the developed countries and promoting their comprehensive development process under the leadership of His Majesty the King.
The Deputy Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for the fruitful cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates, praising the contributions of distinguished national competencies in this prominent project.
