Manama, Dec. 15 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, received a cable of congratulations from the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, on the Kingdom’s National Day. In celebration of the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Islamic country, which was founded by Ahmed Al-Fateh in 1783, and the occasion of His Majesty the King assuming the reins of power.
In a telegram, the head of the Bahrain Defense Force wished His Majesty the King good health, happiness and a long life to achieve more development, progress and prosperity for Bahrain and its people.
