Manama on February 15 (US): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today visited the Bahrain International Circuit to watch a show organized by Bahrain Raid Extreme (BRX) and Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company on Prodrive Hunter.

His Highness highlighted the growing interest in motorsports regionally and globally, and the importance of enhancing the participation of Bahraini motorsport teams in international competitions.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad noted the partnership between Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company and the British Prodrive Motorsports and Engineering Group, and the importance of the partnership in the successes of the Bahrain Raid Xtreme team in the world of rallying.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad wished the Bahrain Ride Extreme team success in its upcoming participation in the second round of the new World Cross-Country Rally Championship in the United Arab Emirates.

BRX has completely rebuilt the Prodrive Hunter after creating the history of the Dakar in Saudi Arabia, as the first major team to complete the race with cars powered by the next generation of advanced sustainable fuels.
