His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa is congratulated by HRH the Deputy King following the successful launch of the Bahrain-UAE Light-1 satellite

Manama, December 21 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy King, presented his congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa after the successful launch of the first Bahraini-Emirati satellite, Light-1.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad stressed that this vital project advances the comprehensive development wheel of the Kingdom under the leadership of His Majesty the King.

His Highness the Deputy King praised the efforts of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Adviser, Commander of the Royal Guard and Secretary General of the Supreme Defense Council, in achieving this scientific achievement.

His Highness expressed his pride in the Bahrain team’s contribution to the project, adding that the launch of the satellite is another achievement achieved by the Kingdom thanks to the Bahraini manpower industry.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad, presented his congratulations to the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of the State, Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Nahyan. Maktoum, and to the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. His Highness also thanked them for their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation, including cooperation in space exploration and scientific research.

His Highness wished the continued success of the Bahraini-Emirati joint space project, expressing his hope that it would be a model for scientific progress that the two countries can achieve together.
