Higher Education Council Secretary-General praises Bahrain’s efforts to support, empower youth

Manama, March 25 (BNA) The Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council and Vice-Chairman of its Board of Trustees, Dr. Sheikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, praised the permanent directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to support Bahraini youth to be future leaders.

She also praised the tremendous efforts made by the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to empower Bahraini youth, believing in their ability to enhance the development process in the Kingdom.

Dr. Sheikha Rana stressed that the Bahraini Youth Day is an opportunity to celebrate the Kingdom’s pioneering experience in youth development and empowerment, to become a role model in launching initiatives that promoted youth creativity, innovation and achievements.

She commended His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Action and Youth Affairs, First Vice President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, for their tireless efforts in encouraging and empowering youth competencies.
